Description

Imperial Stout, aged in a Cognac barrel. Hints of coffee and chocolate with sweetness and fruit notes from the barrel.

Pomona Island say “This is one of 13 releases of barrel aged Imperial Stout. One brew, split into 13 different casks and left to develop and absorb the character and flavour embedded in the wood. This one has been resting in an XXO 20 year Cognac barrel and has layer upon layer of flavour from this very special barrel. This will develop over time but is excellent to drink right now.”

It has one of the best websites I've used for ordering beer. I frequently use the click and collect and orders are always ready very quickly. I also recently used the delivery and received my order the next day. Niall provides a great service, giving the personal touch remembering his customers and is always available for help or advice.
