After every news bulletin and press conference I get sad, frustrated and angry about the awful situation we are putting our frontline staff in. They are going to work every day and putting themselves at risk while I’m lucky that I’m safe at home trying to avoid catching or passing on the virus.
I’d like to help these heroes somehow. I’ve been asked a few times if I can help our customers buy NHS staff and carers a beer to thank them for their hard work and dedication.

We’ll add 20% of the value as a personal thanks, convert the donations into vouchers which can be redeemed once the shop re-opens, and get them into the hands of someone who has really earned a drink, via our local NHS and carer organisations.
